Connect Cursor to Second Brain

Do these in order

1. In the Second Brain app press Add an AI. Name it, choose Cursor, press Continue, then press Copy the paragraph.
2. Make a folder for your Cursor work. In it create a file called AGENTS.md and paste the paragraph into it. Also create a folder called .cursor. Inside it create a folder called rules. In rules create a file called second-brain.mdc. Its first 3 lines are --- then alwaysApply: true then ---. Paste the paragraph under them.
3. In Cursor open that folder as the project.
4. In the message box, look for a green Ask label. If it is there, click the x on it. Ask mode can only read, so it cannot write your entry.
5. Give it a job. macOS asks whether Cursor may access files managed by your cloud. Press Allow. It only asks once.
6. Cursor reads your Second Brain first and adds an entry when it finishes.

3 things to try

• Nothing is written and the green Ask label is showing: remove it as in step 4.
• Cursor says it cannot reach the folder: you pressed Don't Allow in step 5. Open System Settings, then Privacy and Security. Allow Cursor to reach the files in your cloud folder.
• Open the Health page in the app. It lists anything waiting or in conflict. Or email office@contigi.com: support is included for 12 months.
