Plain English terms for buying and using Contigi Tidymac, our Mac app for clearing space safely. About 5 minutes to read.
Last updated: 19 September 2026
Contigi is a trading name of Buckswell Holdings Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 13137887, whose registered office is at Enterprise House, 1st Floor, 2 The Crest, London NW4 2HN.
In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Buckswell Holdings Limited, trading as Contigi. "You" and "your" mean the person buying or using Contigi Tidymac, which we call "Tidymac".
You can contact us at office@contigi.com or on 020 7070 8343.
Tidymac scans your Mac, shows you a list and moves the items you tick into a holding folder called the Tidy Bin. It only moves what you choose. You can put everything back until you empty the Tidy Bin yourself.
When you buy Tidymac we give you a personal, non-exclusive licence to use it on the Macs you own or use yourself, up to three Macs. You may use it for your own business.
You may not sell, share, rent or copy it, run it as a service for other people, or take it apart, except where the law allows you to. Tidymac stays ours. The licence lasts for as long as you keep to these terms.
Tidymac is careful, but only you know which of your files you still need. Before you use it:
If Tidymac is not for you, email us within 30 days of buying and we will refund the full £29. You do not need to give a reason.
This is longer than the 14 days you normally have by law to cancel an online purchase. Downloading Tidymac straight away does not affect it, so you lose nothing by starting to use it at once.
To get a refund, email office@contigi.com from the address you bought with. We refund the original payment method within 5 working days. If you moved items to the Tidy Bin, you can put them back first: open Tidymac, choose Tidy Bin, then Put everything back.
Whatever is written here, you always keep your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If Tidymac is not, you are entitled to have it repaired or replaced, or to a price reduction or a refund. Nothing in these terms affects those rights.
Email office@contigi.com. We aim to reply within two working days. If Tidymac moved something you did not expect, stop using it, open Tidymac, choose Tidy Bin and press Put everything back. Then send us your report and we will look into it with you.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that the law does not allow us to limit.
Subject to that:
If you are a consumer, your right under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 to compensation when faulty digital content damages your device or your other digital content, where we did not use reasonable care and skill, is not affected by this section.
Tidymac keeps everything on your Mac. It does not connect to the internet, has no account and sends nothing to us or to anyone else. It collects no usage data.
We aim to keep Tidymac working on new versions of macOS, but we cannot promise it, because Apple can change how macOS works. The version you bought keeps working. Free updates to version 1 are yours to download.
We may update these terms. The version on this page on the day you buy applies to your purchase. If we make a significant change, we will tell you by email where we reasonably can.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your own country.
If something goes wrong, please contact us first at office@contigi.com. We aim to reply within two working days and to resolve complaints quickly.
